Quick answer
What to do first
Read each entity’s containment requirement and compare it with the actual holding room. Improve weak containment, but also prepare for an escape: a favorable escape interval is not a guarantee. Roof, layout and entity-specific conditions matter more than copying an unlabeled screenshot.
Match your symptom
| Symptom | Likely cause | Check | Next action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Containment looks strong but escapes occur | Strength reduces risk, not certainty | Read the entity’s escape information. | Maintain an escape response even after improving the room. |
| Room rating is lower than expected | Holding setup or enclosure is unsuitable | Inspect roof, walls, doors and the holding platform. | Correct the actual room conditions before adding more entities. |
| One entity is much harder to hold | Requirements differ by entity | Read that entity’s containment need and effects. | Plan for its requirements rather than using a single room score for all. |
| Escape threatens the whole colony | Response route is unprepared | Review doors, responder access and nearby vulnerable pawns. | Keep a practical response and recovery plan. |
Read the entity’s containment needs
Anomaly containment starts with the entity’s information, not a universal cell blueprint. Compare the current holding setup with what is required and inspect the entire room. A platform placed inside an unfinished structure is not equivalent to a completed containment area.
Correct the room and holding setup
Improve known weaknesses before expanding capacity. Roof coverage, barriers and the properties counted by the containment system can affect the result. Check the displayed strength after each change so you know whether the intended improvement actually applied.
Prepare for an escape
Escape intervals describe risk over time, not an appointment that guarantees safety until a timer expires. Good containment still needs responders, medical capacity and routes that do not expose the whole colony. Avoid treating a high number as permission to ignore the held entity.
Why high strength is not certainty
Before moving or rebuilding holding infrastructure, consider what happens to its contents and retain a safe plan. Patch notes include holding-platform fixes, which makes version checking important. This guide does not endorse disabling entities through exploit-like procedures or reproduce an unverified community layout.
