Quick answer
What to do first
Compare infection severity and immunity in the Health tab, then prioritize timely tending, bed rest and appropriate medicine. Keep watching both values. A clean treatment area helps prevent new infections but does not instantly cure one that has already started.
Match your symptom
| Symptom | Likely cause | Check | Next action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Infection rising | Immunity must catch up | Inspect the infected condition and immunity progress. | Arrange timely treatment and bed rest; monitor rather than assuming one tend is enough. |
| No one treats the pawn | Care is blocked | Check doctor availability, medicine policy, access and due tending. | Assign a reachable capable doctor and suitable permitted medicine. |
| Tended but recovery is poor | Quality or pawn condition limits progress | Inspect tend quality, rest and immunity-related health conditions. | Improve the next treatment conditions and reduce avoidable interruptions. |
| Considering amputation | A drastic operation may remove a local infection | Check the affected part and whether an appropriate operation exists. | Assess surgical risk and timing; it cannot remove every infection. |
Compare infection with immunity
Do not judge the race from infection severity alone. Inspect immunity on the same condition, keep the pawn resting, and reassess after treatment. A doctor’s travel time, unavailable medicine or a patient leaving bed can undermine an otherwise adequate medical setup.
Choose the next care action
Make a reachable bed available, prioritize care and confirm the patient permits the medicine you intend to use. The best stock in the colony does nothing if the doctor cannot reach it or the patient’s policy forbids it. Treat urgent care as an actual scheduled job, not just a room-design problem.
Remove avoidable treatment delays
Cleanliness matters for avoiding infections from wounds and medical work, but moving a patient into a sterile room does not erase an established disease. Distinguish prevention from recovery. Nutrition, rest and the pawn’s health remain worth checking while immunity develops.
Last-resort operations
Amputation is a last-resort game action for suitable infected body parts, not a universal infection cure. It costs a body part and carries operation risks. If severity is dangerously advanced, a long preparation plan may be too slow; consult the surgery checks before queuing an operation and keep monitoring the condition.
