PEAK / platform status

PEAK Console & Crossplay

The console plan is real. A PS5, Xbox, or Switch release date is not—at least not yet.

Short answer

The useful part first.

PEAK is being ported to consoles and the developers say it will support cross-platform play. They have not announced which consoles, a release date, store pages, pricing, or a beta. Today, the official store release remains Windows PC on Steam.

What is officially confirmed?

  • The team has been working on ports to other platforms.
  • With Final Ascent released, console work is a stated focus.
  • Future console players are intended to play with the existing Steam community.
  • The announcement also promises play across console platforms.

What has not been announced?

Specific consolesNot named
Release dateNot announced
Price or store pagesNot announced
Cross-saveNot announced

Does cross-platform mean cross-save?

No. Cross-platform multiplayer and shared progression are separate features. The Final Ascent announcement confirms playing together across platforms, but it does not say Steam progress, cosmetics, badges, or saves will transfer to a console account.

When will there be more news?

The developers said more news would come later in 2026. That is an information window, not a launch window. Until an official platform page appears, claims for a specific PS5, Xbox Series, or Nintendo release date are speculation.
